Dr Catherine Price has been awarded one of five places on the University of Nottingham’s Policy Impact Pathways Programme, organised by the Institute for Policy and Engagement. As well as receiving bespoke training to develop policy impact at local, regional, and national levels, Catherine will also receive a grant of £4,000. This funding will be used to work with Shropshire County Council to assist in the development of their biochar framework. In particular, this will focus on how biochar production and deployment can work for local authorities and rural communities.
