In the Media – Listen by the Lake
The Biochar Demonstrator has contributed to one of four listening posts located on the banks of the boating lake at Highfields Park in Nottingham. At the press of a button, visitors can spend a few minutes hearing illustrated audio clips about the lives and work of university researchers on a range of topics. The content of these posts changes regularly, with our post coinciding with the City Nature Challenge 2022, alongside other outstanding nature-based research done at the University.
Three of our University of Nottingham researchers, Catherine Price, Clement Uguna and Tom Bott, have recorded a message about their research with visitors to the park, especially children and families. We’re also inviting listeners to contribute to a short survey on Biochar, to add to our research.
If you’d like to contribute to the survey you can find it here.
